IMDG General Awareness Training Program
Effective with Amendment 34-08 of the IMDG Code, and consistent with the training requirements of the US Department of Transportation and other Regulatory bodies, all shore-side personnel require dangerous goods/hazardous materials training. This course has been accepted by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority and the Marine Department Peninsular Malaysia.
The IMDG Code and International Governmental agencies have identified that at a minimum the following personnel require General Awareness and familiarization training - Customer Service Representatives, Booking Agents, Documentation – BL, Intermodal / Logistics, Port Operations, M&R, Equipment, Claims / insurance, Executive management.
The IMDG Code General Awareness and Familiarization Training Program focuses on the safe and compliant transportation of dangerous goods transported by ocean common carrier. High quality visual aids in the form of professional designed slides and professional narration keep your students attention while covering all of the significant compliance issues. Examples, work projects, and test questions are provided to help you document HazMat employee qualification as required by International Maritime Dangerous Goods and US DOT regulations.
